IELTS Academic Writing
A complete course in how to write effective answers to the Academic IELTS Writing Part 1 examination tasks. Your trainer was an IELTS writing examiner from 2006 to 2018 and trained IELTS examiners for the writing part of the examination from 2011-18. Course Outcomes: improved understanding of the requirements of the examination; an ability to analyze the questions set; an understanding of how to effectively answer the questions. Course entry requirements: None, open to all learners of English, though only really appropriate for those learners who wish to take the IELTS examination at a Band 6 and above level. This course runs on a one-to-one basis. Course length: 12 contact hours minimum course, extendable according to requirements.
Academic Writing for Undergraduates
A complete course in how to write undergraduate essays and dissertations in a clear and effective style.
Course Outcomes: a full understanding of the conventions and requirements of undergraduate writing.
Course entry requirements: Open to all learners of English with a B2 level of English, though only really appropriate for those learners who wish to study in English at a university.
This course runs as a small group course of up to 5 participants.
Course length: 15 contact hours.
